Brian,

I think that all the SOF plans that Clark Craft sells are Percy Blandford's designs. Among those designs are two folders. One is a short 12'6" single the other a 17' double.
Blandford did these boats long before the current craze for boats with authentic Inuit appearence came along. Nontheless, the designs, in general, have proven themselves in the waters around the British Isles. They must have something going for them.
If your not offended by a boat that resembles a Klepper a Blandford kayak may be what your looking for.

: Brian, check the link below. There are two plans for sale for folding kayaks
: at that site. My wife bought me plans for the 15' Roomy open double for my
: birthday but it is not a folding kayak. At least if you have another set
: of plans you can make modifications as necessary.

: I noticed in the set of photos that you posted the person building the
: child's sized folding yak is using 3/4" plywood. That may be
: overkill, and I highly do not recommend plywood for the stringers.

: Good luck,
: Paul
