I'm using a single layer of the 3.25oz (It's not 3.5oz as I said before) cloth all around. The hull is S&G 3mm Okoume, the deck is cedar strip.
As for the black strip, I used epoxy mixed with graphite. It was a very messy job and required a lot of hand sanding.
