One other thing that folks should know that many of the room temperature cure epoxies that are used by home builders get soft at relativly low temps (140-160) With a wood core this generally doesn't effect the shape of the boat but we recently shipped some epoxy boats to the US national team training center in San Diego. On the way they traveled through the Navada desert. The shipping company strapped the boats too tightly to a trailer and the dark geen boats were deformed by the time they got to San Diego. I can easily see the boats parked at a rest stop baking in the desert sun on the blacktop. They had strap marks on the deck and the boat was a little wider than when they left MA. causing the foot board to rattle between the streacher fittings.

Jack
