Yes I have built before. I started with a Laughing Loon Panache two years ago. I enjoyed the building process so much that I started a Redfish King before the Panache got wet. Since my wife and I have a young child, I realized that we would not soon be paddling those kaykaks much, so I started the Pygmy Osprey Triple. I obsessed over the first two strippers. Building the Osprey was kind of liberating...I was building a working kayak, not a work of art. The workmanship was probably better given the experience of building the first two, but the stress level was much lower.
