Holy Smokes! You're living near Ken and Rolland then. They are in Winterpeg, too! Those two brave (read "crazy) souls went skiing at Lake Winterpeg for four days, should have left Thursday. I think I like you're idea of how to spend the weekend better. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, been to Winterpeg many times to visit relatives. I'll be there next summer coz that's where I'll be ending the second leg of my big river trip. Maybe I'll see you there. I'll be paddling right into town where I'll stop at Ken's house on the bonnie banks of the Red River.
