Sutures, get your sutures here while they're sterile. LOL! Maybe a sewing kit should be a requirement with every kayak project. Hey, I did a good job sewing up my knuckle, I can help you with that. Lemmie see, you need to sterilize, cauterize then suture it, I'm guessing maybe three or four to close that gaping wound. First, you need anesthetic, I suggest Applegate's Jamaican Rum, three ounces over ice. When the numbness becomes apparent, we'll get that wound closed up in no time.
I'm betting all of us have given blood offerings to just about every project we have worked on. I have scars on my scars from little slips. I am so used to little nicks and cuts that I no longer stop what I am doign unless I hot a gusher. Then I swear at the audacity of the thing, get a wipe, wrap it and go about my business. I wonder if there is some minor diety that demands this offering before we can complete a job. Probably!
