And I thought that I was the only one. A few years back, a gash on my right thumb looked looked very much like the one on your finger, after said thumb got a little too close to a whirring 12" carbide tipped saw blade.

Surprisingly, the meat slowly grew back in, and after a few weeks the scar had completely disappeared. Amazing how the system knew just what to grow, and in the right place too! Could have been another nose.
