I'm almost at the varnishing step on my kayak right now. I'm going to go with a rudder and am probably going to use the Duckworks rudder model. I was just looking around on ebay for footbraces and other things and saw the inflatable bag footbrace. I'm not going to use it since I will have a rudder.. just wanted to see if anybody ever used one. I've seen a bunch of footbrace designs that are a block of foam or some other extrusion that is secured against the bulkhead.
