hey all,
Not shure if anybody else noticed these at rei.com. http://www.rei.com/product/751431
I bought two pair for a rebuild of my traditional SOF for my wife and a Yost sea otter for myself. I thought I would share some information that will be usefull for anyone else using them for a yost. Chances are, they are not a good idea for yost's. They claim adjustment of 13.5 inches. Harmony's website points out 19 inches are needed. In actuality, 35 inches are neccessary for them to work fully. My sea otter is modifies to allow my shorter coaming to work with it. I just moved the "masic" form closer to my backrest giving me 28.75 inches of space between masic and foot beam. It is not enough for full adjustment of the foot braces, but it does allow 7.5 inches of movement with the furthest forward being 3.5 inches from the deck beam. From what I can remember 28.75 inches is more space than most Yost designs, so therefore there is not much room for adjustment.
The design does apear to be an excelent design with very easy adjustment and easy attachment. As you can see from the picture, I just screwed them to my gunwalls.

Hope this helps someone,
