Thanks for the input guys.

This is not a 30" canoe. It more like 24" and only 12' long. I am just playing around right now. But I am getting kind of interested in building it. The more I work with it the more I like it. Should be very light, easy to carry and load. Perfect for exploring small creeks on the side of the road.
