The Yak foot braces are by far the best, IMHO. They're durable, take a beating, are easy to adjust. They do get jammed with sand now and then, but that's not that hard to fix.
In the summer, I generally adjust or help adjust between 8 and 16 foot braces a day and in the last two years, only the Yak braces on the boats have been consistently easy to adjust. And they're the only model not to break at some point in the last two years... The plastic Seadog braces break right at the point where the adjustment lever enters the housing.
And, you can adjust the Yak braces with your feet or on the water by leaning up against the boat you're adjusting and reaching in.
