I spoke with a tech rep for Epifanes a while back, and he said that the traditional varnish has an extremely long cure time of three or more weeks depending on environmental factors.

I've never used it, so I don't know what the cure time between coats is, or whether it's intended for use over epoxy, or whether or not it's even the product in question here.

They do make quite a range of products that are intended for use over epoxy and polyester resins, so I'd give them a call and see what they say. I spoke with Pete who took a long time with me and even sent me a cd-rom with all of their tech specs for the different products. Most companies spend a ton of money testing their products, and while a LOT of companies have useless tech lines Epifanes isn't one of them. They're the last word on compatibility and intended use, and I know they'd want to know if you're having problems, both so that they can fix it for you and so that they can find out if the problem is on their end.

Good luck. It's got to be KILLER frustrating after all of that work. At least, like Rob says- it's nothing some abrasive won't fix...
