I have been working on building a Water Dancing Solace 18 XL for a while now and she is finally finished. I have nothing but good comments about the quality of the kit and directions/manual as well as the helpfulness from Don at Waters Dancing. The kit was very complete although I did change a few items. I added a day hatch, and used the Sea Dogs toe controlled rudder peddles. Unlike many of you, I had always intended to paint this kayak and to use it as a working boat rather than a piece of sculpture and a show piece - she is still a beautiful kayak and I highly recommend Waters Dancing. In addition, I want to thank all of you for your helpful input, and continuous source of ideas and inspiration. Now I guess it is time to move onto a SOF.
