Hi,
I assume you are building a stripper. If so you will want to try to make the filler the same colour as the wood. Mix white glue or epoxy with sawdust from the strips, or sand some strips until you have enough sawdust and add white flour to lighten the colour as it will darken considerably. You will have to experiment until you get the right mix. When you have made sufficient to fill the cracks go ahead, let dry and sand. Even then you will find the filler noticeable. You don't even have to do this, however. Let the epoxy fill the cracks when you fibreglass. It will probably be less noticeable.
