The original argument you made was full of pseudo-scientific speculation with no hard facts to back it up. The argument ignored the nautical concept of efficiency in favor of a silly semantics argument. What kind of responses did you expect?
Show some evidence proving your speculation and you'll see responses that show respect. Or in other words, show some respect and you'll receive it back.
