She is 18' overall and 24" wide. Waterline ended up at 15'10". and 21.5". There is 2" of rocker at the rear and depending on where you measure about the same in the bow. I am going to put in a drop down skeg even though it is not shown.

My design goals were a flat water boat with higher displacement. I figured 250 lbs on average, 300 lbs load with camping gear. I wanted something stable so I can do some photography. I wanted it to be able to turn well. I prefer that over tracking and figured that a retractable skeg would be a good addition. If needed it can tighten up the tracking. If not needed it won't hurt anything.

My biggest priority was it had to look good! And to my eye it does. Others may not like the style and thats fine. I have always been drawn to the pointed higher ends and low profile of the Greenland boats. I have lowered the sheer in the last changes and rounded the decks some more to maintain some storage. I am going to strip the deck and just work that out on the boat. This model give me something to look at and shoot for. What I see in Free!Ship makes me smile. I think the finished boat will too.
