I think we all do. I have a bout 20 versions of this MAE693 baidarka that I've been tinkering with for the past year or so. First I like the nostalgia of looking back and seeing how a favorite design has evolved. Second it's a nice record of the design process and helps when designing future boats. You get those, "oh, yeah... that's why I did that..." moments when you go back and review the changes. Plus some of the old versions may even become the basis for new favorites.
