Yo Darren

I made two Nick Schade Guillemot s&g's for the kids. The first one was perfect. The second one had the tip of its nose tweaked over. I couldn't believe that I had missed that, but since it was well out of the water ... I figured I could live with it.

It hasn't given me any problems and is still going strong. Except every time I paddle the boat I say to myself "oh that is right, this is the wrybill guillemot" (That is a conflict in ornithological terms but I think I got away with it)

You see, I reassure myself that here in New Zealand we have a little wading bird called the wrybill plover - his beak is tweaked over to the side and doesn't seem to drive him nuts.
