This seems to be a question for wolfgang brinck as he has lots of information on his website about willow. Maybe email him or post on qajaqusa as he has been surfing that site.
Someday I will make a yak out of willow. If find it very interesting. I'm actually growing a willow tree in a pot because I find them quite pretty.
