Hi Chuck,

A 13ft strongback will work for both boats.

Attached is a pic from last week of a Sonnet aboard my Triumph. The soft
bag contains the boat and all paddling gear. The GP take-apart is strapped to
the back of the bag . Total weight of boat and all paddling gear is about
40lbs(18kg). This frees up the hard bags for non kayaking related use.

There is no contact between rider and boat, and the bikes handling is still spot on
