I agree, as usual, with Rob. Most acetone these days is recycled and you have no idea of what trace chemicals are present.

Acetone used to be the universal solvent for polyester layups, big shops bought the stuff in 55 gallon drums and even washed their hands in it (I did years back). But acetone does really nasty things to your bod (and brain btw), you'll be far better off if you never use it. It's just not required with epoxy, water and sometimes soap with a scotch brite pad does the same things with epoxy and is far easier on you.
