What was your purpose in using the acetone on the seal coat?

If it was to remove the blush, that is the wrong liquid to use. Blush removal is done with water. Some people add a few drops of either white vinegar, dish detergent or household ammonia. Using warm water with a scouring pad helps a lot. Wipe dry with paper towels to be sure to have removed any stray blush. Follow with a light hand sanding with 120 grit, vacuum, clean with warm water and dry thoroughly before applying another coat of epoxy. I have never run into any problems with blush removal when following the proper procedure.
