I seek advise on how I might
: lay-up the glass around the coaming and lip. With all the curves and
: changes in direction, I'd like trying not to create a mess that I'd spend
: hours cleaning up.

I used Rob Macks way of putting in the thickened epoxy radiuses at the top and bottom of the inside lip, using plastic tubing. Then I used the same tubing to hold the glass in place after it was epoxyed while it set. I waxed the tubing about three times. I pulled the tubing off before the epoxy was complete hard but still a little rubbery, both when putting in the radiuses and later holding the glass in place. I used pieces of glass as you see in the picture and worked my way around the lip.
