: I seek advise on how I might
: I used Rob Macks way of putting in the thickened epoxy radiuses at the top
: and bottom of the inside lip, using plastic tubing. Then I used the same
: tubing to hold the glass in place after it was epoxyed while it set. I
: waxed the tubing about three times. I pulled the tubing off before the
: epoxy was complete hard but still a little rubbery, both when putting in
: the radiuses and later holding the glass in place. I used pieces of glass
: as you see in the picture and worked my way around the lip.

I do like the clean looks of the glass coaming/lip. Perhaps I should have researched it a bit. The tube method looks like it provides a very uniform structure, and helps keep the bonding glass taunt. Oh well, there's always 'next time'.
On my end, I ended up pulling my 'twisted glass rope' off the boat before it could set. Just didn't appear to be clearing out, and more and more frays were popping out as it began to cure. Would likely have been structurally sound, but one huge mess to clean-up. I opted to run one continuous sheet of glass around the coaming/lip with the ends overlapping on the rear recessed deck area. Actually went smoother than I thought it would, with no folds or kinks and only a couple of bubbles developing which were easily managed. I'll probably just lay up a piece or two of glass beneath the deck at the coaming joint and call it a day. With all of the epoxy that ended up settling at that joint on the topside, not sure an additional fillet could offer a much sounder joint.
