: First off, this photo is not of the finished ready to fillet hull. I

: one taken earlier in the process. Well before I had all hull straighted
: out. The rear one is just laying there!

: The bow bulkhead still looks similar to this though. When I lay out the
: bulkhead and install it it just isn't the same size as the boat. I have
: made three for the front. They all fit similar. The upper panels fit very
: close. The bottom panels appear to be wider than designed. I may have made
: a mistake laying out the bulkheads but if I did I made the same mistake on
: all of them. So I doubt it. Besides I worked with coordinate systems for
: 20 years. Since I have a similar situation at the rear I have to assume
: that the developed panels from Freeship are not exactly right. They seem
: to be a bit wider.

: Checking the boat everything seems OK. Rocker looks good, the shape looks
: like I designed. It probably has a bit more V in the bottom at the bow and
: stern than I designed it with. I though I would take some measurements
: from the chines to see if that is the case tonight.

: If it does the only option is to try to manually correct those bottom panels
: and I don't have a good reference point to work with. So if it just ended
: up with more V as I suspect, I will just leave it alone.

To start with I've never done a stitch and glue so I'm not commenting on that, interested though

If you end up with alot more V in the bow and stern you may end up with so little initial stability that use of the boat once finished might not be possible. Changing the hull shape from what's designed can make really pretty sculpture but doesn't necessarily make pretty boats, depends if you have a use for kayak shaped statues or not
