Spent this morning chasing Gremlins and no answers. Yes I think there is some error/the developments are not perfect from FreeShip. On the other hand I don't see a major problems either.

I started by making a new bulkhead. Right off the bat I discovered I dumb mistake on my part. I was also more careful to double checking everything and making sure this bulkhead was right. My niece showed up to work on the boats. I wanted to teach her so we walked through making the bulkheads. I let her do a lot and double checked her work. We built two and installed them and the fit was pretty close.It does appear that in the center and flatter sections of the hull that the panels are wider than they should be. I ended up with a little more V there.

In the ends where the panels twist and are more V'ed the bulkheads I made fit very well. It took some creative clamping to twist the panels and make them take the correct shape, but they fit good.

I also took the coordinates and calculated the panel width at two or three stations. Calculated the angle of the hull too. Compared to what I measure on the developed panels, the developments are narrower than than what I calculate. Which would make the hull flatter when if fact is has more V. Totally opposite of what I am seeing.

So draw your own conclusions. There are just to many variables to know for sure. After getting my errors corrected the hull looks good to my eye. I am about to glue it up. I can't do anything else to it and I am not a good enough paddler to notice minor differences.

Once the hull is filleted I will start on her hull. Will try to watch this one closer and see what I can discover on it. It's a slightly shorter boat, similar in design so it should be interesting to see if I have the difficulties.
