Hi,

Panel development is only math so in generally I would believe there should not be any errors in Freeship. Some people have had problems but that's been in the user side . In Freeship the user can control the shape and bendings which can be misleading because you can create shapes not possible to make in S&G. In other hand a very large part of users have created their kayaks well by using Freeship.

Of course there might be real problems, but as far I've haven't seen one.

In kayak building there's difficult parts such as joining the long panels correctly. Also taking the panel thickness in calculations can be a bit difficult at times. Then there's small mistakes in drawing and sawing which can easily mean the panels won't fit together perfectly.

: I started by making a new bulkhead. Right off the bat I discovered I dumb
: mistake on my part. I was also more careful to double checking everything
: and making sure this bulkhead was right. My niece showed up to work on the
: boats. I wanted to teach her so we walked through making the bulkheads. I

: flatter sections of the hull that the panels are wider than they should
