Looks great !!
I like the vertical supporting piece at cockpit butt end frame. Double purpose -- backrest and will also take the extra stress when you sit on the frame.
I am using a similar approach, my frame is wood with small HDPE snap-ons , I have used 3/4 " aluminium tube between deckridge and keel stringer.
Pictures soon.. working on the seat.
