They have some products that would probably make a fine skin coating for any type of fabric. Might have to apply it with a squeegee instead of a brush, but I wouldn't think that would be so bad. Probably one thick coat, or multiple coats one right after another (just like Spiritline "Goop"). I've been thinking about using some type of molding urethane instead of the typical brush-on coating, but just haven't tried it yet. I once found an airport runway seam/crack sealer that looked like the perfect coating: super flexible and unbelievably abrasion resistant (hey, its meant to have commercial jets landing on it all day and night). Only problem was that the color was 'concrete' gray... I'll have to see if I can dig up the manufacturer, they had some other coatings that looked like good candidates for SOF.
