I have a sample of the clip clamps but I have not used it. As Rob says, a 1" Pony spring clamp is more powerful. If the price of the clip clamps came down a little bit they would make a good option when you need a lot of clamps at moderate pressure.

They are designed after the idea of cutting pieces of schedule 40 drain pipe, which may still be the most cost effective way of getting a lot of clamps cheap.
