Ya- corrugated tin. I don't remember where I got the image from. I have wanted to replicate this using the clear acrylic corrugated roofing. Just haven't had the time. So many boats to build, so little time.
My father told me how they cut tin roofing on the farm. They anchored a piece of bailing wire to a log and the other to a stout stick. Then they laid the tin on top of the wire and stood on top of the roofing, on foot on each side of where the wire was. Then they pulled up on the wire and it would cut a perfectly straight line.
