Some tips if you use an iron (used aircraft dacron to cover my Yost kayak, had to learn this stuff). Get a digital meat thermometer, iron's heat ranges are all over the map, so you need to find out what heat it's putting out when you change the dial, not exactly a precision device. Use thin fabric to keep the iron from sticking to the vinyl, the heat will pass right thru the fabric (like cotton) and not damage the surface. I've not worked with these vinyls so you'll have to experiment some, find out what temperature works and what doesn't. Don't need a very big test piece for and experiment
