Perhaps you have to make all the same mistakes to appreciate the what the extra effort gets you.

Good question.

I built model cars, planes and ships as a kid. Fancy paint jobs I got my fingerprints in because I couldn't wait for it to dry and all kinds of stuff I screwed up. I learned patience.

Perhaps that's the price of patience.

Hell I still screw up a lot, I'm just better at fixing mistakes.
