Hey Sean
I use dots of Ball-Point pen ink and tape for the long straight lines.
I also used b-p pen to mark shapes. Pencil wasn't dark enough in my shop until I got the new lights. It will work as well.
I cleaned it all off with Acetone. Takes the ink right off... well, smears it first, but eventually gets it off.
