Not quite ready to launch yet. Just prior to sanding 3rd varnish coat. Had every intention of doing some nice inlay work on the wife's boat (w/ sun), and had intentionally left it bland w/o any kind of pattern. But the idea of explaining to her that it would take another 30/40 hrs of my time that the boats were already depriving her of, just couldn't do it. She'd had me shot. The B/C'd Brazilian cherry will have to wait for the next round. The boats have plans for Lake Erie (South Bass Rendezvous) in early June and Lake Michigan (holiday) in July. Maybe next time I can plan on not being in such a hurry. Yeah, right...

For some reason defying physics, her boat just looks sexier, seeming to have nicer curves. They're the same boat, hers just 7% smaller all around. You'd think at a couple steps back, mine would look the same. Not so. Probably for the best.

The underexposed pic shows the imperfect epoxy finish. Don't really notice it looking straight on. And no, I wasn't drinking when are scarfed together that one dark pc. of cedar on her deck. I swear the two pcs. were the same color dry, which is why next time I'll wet them first. Live and learn.
