actually i read that contact adhesive isnt the best for even the paperbacked stuff, so the only thing is that they stay nice and flat, not really something i would worry since id be using epoxy anyways. The stuff i found is poplar about 1mm in thickness, and since i was planning on having 3 and 4 layers that brings me up to the thickness i actually need, and its not expensive at all, but thats the paper backed stuff. With the prices of the raw veneers i found id be better off stripping.
