There is a company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rice Veneer & Lumber Co., that supplies veneer to the frrnature industry. I think that they have some veneer that could be obtained quite reasonably, if you arent too fussy about what species. They do not have a web site but the phone number is 616-485-0557.
