In Response To: Material: paper backed veneer (Acors)

A retailer finally gave me an answer different from "i wouldnt know". So for future reference:
Best quality "paper backed" veneers have a resin saturated backing, that is half the thickness of the whole material, more costly than raw veneers, heavier at the end but would not delaminate.
Cheaper than raw "paper backed" veneers use whatever adhesive and there have been complaints from clients exactly because of delamination problems.
None of the two is worth it.
