Personally if I wanted a hull that's normally built S&G and had strips I'd just build it as a stripper. No reason at all why you can't do that, just the building technique is different. You will need dimmensions for the stations but the designer can likely supply them.

There isn't any advantage to building panels first then forcing them into a S&G shape, the only reason that's done is it's easy with plywood that already comes as sheets.
