Strip: sand before glassing? *Pic*

I did a precoat on the hull last night. The surface of the hull is pretty bumpy in some areas now, as you can see in the photo below. Should I go over the surface lightly with 120 grit to knock down the bumps a bit? Or maybe it doesn't matter too much once the glass is on top?
