Well, John... That's a nice little sports car you have there.

Couple of thoughts on sailing kayaks.

Managing exposed sail area on reaches and runs will be important as you have a small portion of your boat's overall buoyancy forward of the rig. With the amas even with the mast, the tendencies can be amplified for pitching moments.

Try to inflate the amas to the point where they keep the outer shell tight. It will improve their form through the water.

Do adjust the ama's angle of attack as presented to the water when moving forward. Letting them pearl will exacerbate the pitching potential.

Have a plan of attack for getting out of the cockpit and onto the deck aft if you get into conditions where you see the mast bending forward, the amas burying and/or the green water flowing over the deck. Minimize the excess lines and sheet strings so that you can not be hung-up in case you stuff it hard and toss it forward.

You may wish to consider (if you do not already) having a very good fixed blade water knife on your pfd which can be deployed quickly while underwater in the event of being stuck in an upside down boat.

I'm not saying any of this to overly alarm you. It is just a prudent precautionary suggestion. I've pitchpoled more than a few sailing canoes and kayaks (most while surfing under sail down the face of a large swell and driving the boat well into the back of the wave in front while at the bottom of the trough) Just like anything in kayaking, it can be a simple nuisance or it can be a potential pucker factor generator. Have a plan is all I'm saying.

The boat looks terrific and shows your progression of ideas in successive developments. Very nice work.
