Thanks Robin, Don & Fred! I am probably going to just glass the inside of the rim and top of the lip. If it breaks, it's a good excuse to tell my wife so I can make a new boat. What would have to fail would be the wood, because anything bonded with the new G/Flex epoxy is stronger than wood itself.
