The weather here is more subliming than sublime, for sure. The rivers are rising as the highlands get their thaw and the water gets to the big city. There is an unusual lack of debris in the water this year.

Don't take a heat gun to the PVC unless you really mean it! I am definitely going to try a radiator and hair dryer first. When I had wrinkles that were letting air leak from my float bags I let the seam get hot enough that I could smell it and the wrinkle pressed flat. But I'm sure I give up some basic material integrity for that. If careful heat is almost but not quite enough, a heat gun on low from 3 ft. away is the most I would risk.
