Good looking installation. But it might be mentioned that light weight is a prime concern (read: obsession) of mine for both performance and off-the-water handling. My Outer Island weighs 36 lbs, for instance, and my self-designed Greenland cheater boat thing weighs 27. Ultra light boats are a wonderful joy to own, and you ain't gonna get 'em that way by epoxying wood blocks in to avoid drilling holes.

To each his own, and it's all good. I'm just adding my opinion to the pot since it's what we do here.
