In Response To: Strip: two or three fill coats (Mike Bielski)
: What is the thinking on fill coats once the epoxy is wetted out? Start with
: two and see if it fills the weave, or just add three to start?
What weight glass are you using? Is it tight weave or regular? How are you applying the epoxy (roller, brush, squeegee, etc)? How thick is your epoxy? You get the idea. Too many variables There's no hard or fast answer. Whatever it takes to fill the weave, Mike. It's always nice to have a bit extra for fairing.
