When I was working on the last big job in my commercial shop I had to buy a lot of varnish, that boat was 27' long, 10' beam and 5' from the waterline to the deck, all varnished. If you care to look it up, that boat was a Shephard, built in Canada in 1954. As I remember I bought 17 cases of varnish, have maybe 2 cases left.
