Thanks for the compliment DeeAnn. Here are two more pics of my Black Night Heron. I actually finished the boat last June, got slammed into some rocks resulting in a big hole in the hull in July and repaired it in December. Float bags are a good thing when playing in the waves near rocks.
The boat accelerates quickly, is fast and is very responsive to small amounts of edging. Too much edging results in catching the low rear deck and retarding the turn. Pretty easy to roll too. I put a skeg in it using Nick's design which I find helpful when surfing. I think it is one of the best looking and all round nicest stitch & glue designs.

I don't know where you are located but I will probably bring the boat to Nick's Meet at the Beach in June.
