Pythagoras would put the diagonal of that room at 15.6 ft. I guess you must have had a sloping work-bench or you extended into the passageway. SOFs are a bit bendy though so that may have helped.

Space is a problem for so many people in this overcrowded world. I wonder how many projects never get started because there is just no room in which to be creative? I am stalling on my next project because my workshop is in a mess. How is that for being spoiled and lazy?

I have heard of a project in the uk called something like SHEDS FOR MEN. The community builds a large shed or barn and the guys around the locality use it for all sorts of projects from kit cars and boat building to fly tying and socialising. I gather these sheds are bringing all sorts of benefits to these communities.

I am thinking of building a new shed myself, so I don't have to clean up my current one, which is a job for the cat in the hat.
