: Just floated her for the first time this afternoon - coincidentally the
: nicest day we've had all year. So good to see the sun again!

: It's a slightly modified, non-folding, wood framed, "Sea Rover LC"
: designed by Tom Yost.

: 16' long, 18" wide and pretty darn light. I skinned the boat with 12oz
: nylon from George Dyson (I had a hard time dragging myself out of his
: shop!), coated with Zar polyurethane - with some added white pigment. I
: skinned it using the method I learned on the Skinboat School's website
: video (I give it two thumbs up!). Time to completion - four weeks or so.
: Coating it, and the finishing details, take the longest chunks of time.

: The boat is low volume, responsive, fun, and designed for rolling and day
: paddling - I sure won't be doing any camping trips with it!
