Delivery is taking longer than I expected. Seems the freight company did hold up their end of the deal, replacement boxes coming from CLC.
Looking at the plywood parts their is not much grain or visual interest. I was thinking of tinting the wood prior to the epoxy. I think as long as I use a water based product it is OK.
Question: Will the wood conditioner be a problem? It looks like it might help the appearance?
Has anyone built the Arctic Hawk? I would like to do the One Ocean hatch process, but not sure how to fit it in with the build process of my kit. "The book" for the kit is over 400 pages with 2 to 5 pictures on every page.
I think I am going to learn a lot. (I am trying to decide which order to build the next boats. Yost design since a folder could just stay in my car, or a SOF to give the respect the tradition deserves or s stripper because it would be so cool to own something that beautiful.
I think I have finally gotten past the lurking on the board status.
Thanks for any thoughts you care to share
